We build multi-vendor platforms where many sellers list products or services and you earn a commission on each sale. Seller onboarding, payouts and disputes are designed in from day one.

In plain words

Marketplaces,explained without jargon.

What is a multi-vendor marketplace?

One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.

Think of it like this

It is like running a weekly bazaar: you provide the ground, rules and security, and stallholders sell their own goods.

01 / 04

A marketplace is an online platform where many independent sellers offer products or services to buyers in one place.

02 / 04

You run the platform, set the rules and take a commission, while sellers handle their own stock or service.

03 / 04

The hard parts are seller onboarding, splitting payments, routing orders and handling returns between three parties.

04 / 04

Getting those right matters more than the storefront design.

How it runs

Four legs of one relay, about 20 weeks, start to finish.

Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.

The decision

The question we hear most:Plugin, marketplace SaaS or custom build?

The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.

Pick this when

You are testing the idea with a small number of sellers and standard products.

The trade-off

It launches quickest, though complex commission rules and payouts can outgrow the plugin.

What shapes the quote

Four factors, four corners of your project.

Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.

Footprint

A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.

An example

Picture a business like yours,in three frames.

A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Common mistakes

Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.

Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.

How we avoid it

We plan a seller pilot and onboarding support so buyers find real choice on day one.

Cost & timeHow long does a marketplace take and what affects the price?

A plugin-based product marketplace can launch in eight to ten weeks. A custom service or rental marketplace with apps takes sixteen to twenty. Marketplace type, payout rules, seller tools and apps drive the price, and we can split delivery into a pilot and a second phase.

In IndiaWhat tax rules apply to marketplaces in India?

Marketplace operators may have to collect tax at source under GST and deduct tax under income tax rules on seller payments. The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules also require seller details and a grievance officer. Check exact obligations with your CA and legal adviser.

Getting startedHow do sellers get paid?

We use split payment tools from gateways such as Razorpay or Cashfree that route each seller's share to their verified bank account. You can hold payouts until delivery or the return window ends.

OwnershipWho owns the platform and seller data?

You own the code, accounts and all data. Seller and buyer data is handled under your privacy policy, which we help you draft in line with the DPDP Act, with final review by your adviser.

OwnershipCan sellers ship from their own locations?

Yes. Each seller's pickup address is registered with the shipping aggregator, and orders generate labels from the right location. You can also use a central warehouse model.

Getting startedHow do you handle fake or poor-quality sellers?

We add KYC checks, manual approval, ratings and reporting tools. Admins can suspend listings or hold payouts while a complaint is reviewed.

Getting startedCan we start small and grow?

Yes. Many marketplaces start with one category and a handful of sellers to prove demand. We design the data model so new categories and seller types slot in later.

After launchWhat support do we need after launch?

Marketplaces need ongoing moderation tools, payout checks and feature updates as sellers ask for more. We offer a monthly plan for engineering support, cancellable anytime.
