/without lost orders
We move your products, customers, order history and search rankings from an old platform to a new one. The switch happens in a planned window, and your store keeps selling throughout.
↓Each loop moves a different store: records counted and copied, every old address wired to its new one, then a quiet-hour switch
Store migrations,explained without jargon.
What happens in an ecommerce migration?
One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.
It is like moving house with a removal company that labels every box and forwards all your post.
A migration copies everything that matters from your old store to a new platform: products, images, customers, past orders, reviews, discount codes and page content.
Every old web address is redirected to its new equivalent so Google and bookmarked customers still find the right page.
The final switch is timed for a quiet period, with a last top-up of recent orders.
Done carefully, customers barely notice anything changed except a better store.
Heard yourself say this?Count how many fit.
Five things owners tell us before a project like this starts. Every one you recognise adds a tally mark.
Tap the lines you have said this year.
One fits. Worth a short call to see if Store migrations is the right fix.
Two fit. A short call will tell you whether to do this now or later.
Three fit. This is probably worth planning soon.
Four fit. You are losing time to this already.
All five. This page was written for you.
Six parts, all handed over to you.
Your Store migrations work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.
Migration inventory
A list of every data type, page, app and integration on the old store, with what moves, what changes and what retires. Nothing is left to memory.
Data migration
Products with variants and images, customers, order history, reviews, blog posts and gift card balances where the platform allows. We use tools like Matrixify or LitExtension plus custom scripts.
URL redirect map
Every old product, category and content URL mapped to its new address with permanent redirects. We crawl the old site first so no indexed page is missed.
SEO carry-over
Titles, descriptions, structured data and image alt text moved across. Search Console is updated and watched closely after launch.
Integration rewiring
Payments, couriers, marketplaces, email marketing and accounting reconnected to the new store. Each one is tested before the switch.
Cut-over plan and verification report
A step-by-step plan for the switch, with a rollback option and a report comparing record counts between old and new stores.

Four legs of one relay, about 10 weeks, start to finish.
Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.
The question we hear most:Move to Shopify or to WooCommerce?
The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.
You want to stop managing servers and security, and your features fit Shopify and its apps.
Maintenance drops sharply, though some custom features from the old store may need app alternatives.
You rely on heavy customisation, WordPress content or need control over hosting and data location.
Flexibility stays high, though hosting and updates remain your responsibility or ours under a care plan.
Four factors, four corners of your project.
Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.
A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.
Mostly compact, with one area that needs more work.
A balanced build. Half the factors on each side.
A larger build. Most areas need extra work and time.
The full footprint. Every factor on the larger side.
Picture a business like yours,in three frames.
A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.
Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.
Skipping the redirect map
We crawl and map every indexed URL so old links and rankings carry over.
Assuming customer passwords will transfer
We plan an account activation email, since password formats rarely move between platforms.
Migrating junk data
We clean duplicates, dead products and test orders before moving them.
Switching during a sale or festival season
We schedule the cut-over in a quiet period with your team on hand.
Store migrations questions,answered plainly.
Search the answers. If yours is missing, ask us on the call.
Cost & timeHow long does a migration take and what affects the cost?
A small store can move in three to four weeks, while a large catalogue with many integrations takes eight to ten. Data volume, source platform, URL complexity and integrations shape the price. The proposal lists each data type and integration we will move.
Getting startedWill we lose Google rankings?
Some movement in the first weeks is normal after any migration. A complete redirect map, carried-over metadata and quick fixes from Search Console data keep the impact as small as possible.
Getting startedWill customers need to reset passwords?
Usually yes, because platforms store passwords differently. We send a friendly account activation email so customers set a new password and find their order history.
Getting startedWill the store go offline during the move?
No. The old store keeps selling until the switch, which takes a few hours in a planned window. Domain changes are prepared in advance to keep any gap short.
OwnershipWho owns the migrated data?
You do. We also keep a full backup export of the old store and hand it to you, in case you need records later.
In IndiaCan GST invoices and old order numbers be kept?
Past orders keep their original numbers as references, and we can link old invoices for download. New invoices continue in a series your CA approves.
Getting startedCan you move us off a marketplace-hosted store like Dukaan or Instamojo?
Yes, as long as the platform lets you export products and customers. Where exports are limited, we combine available exports with manual cleanup.
After launchWhat support comes after the switch?
We monitor orders, errors and Search Console closely in the weeks after cut-over and fix anything that surfaces. A care plan can take over after that.
