/without losing data
We move websites and apps to a new host, domain or platform with a written plan, a rehearsal and a rollback option. Content, users, orders, URLs and email all arrive intact, and we watch search traffic closely after the switch.
↓Every row of beads is something that must arrive. Counts on both sides must match before the switch. Each loop is a different move

Five things owners tell us before a project like this starts. Every one you recognise adds a tally mark.
Tap the lines you have said this year.
One fits. Worth a short call to see if Migrations is the right fix.
Two fit. A short call will tell you whether to do this now or later.
Three fit. This is probably worth planning soon.
Four fit. You are losing time to this already.
All five. This page was written for you.
Migrations,explained without jargon.
What does a website migration involve?
One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.
It is like moving house: you pack with a list, label every box, update your address everywhere and check nothing is missing when you unpack.
A migration moves your site from one place or system to another.
A hosting move copies the same site to a new server.
A platform move, such as Magento to Shopify, recreates the site on new software and transfers products, customers and orders.
A domain or URL change needs every old address redirected to its new one so visitors and Google can follow.
Six parts, all handed over to you.
Your Migrations work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.
Migration inventory
A full list of pages, files, databases, users, integrations, cron jobs, email accounts and DNS records that must move.
Redirect map
A spreadsheet pairing every old URL with its new address, tested before launch and kept for future reference.
Data migration and checks
Transfer of content, products, customers and orders, with counts and spot checks comparing old and new systems.
Rehearsal on staging
A full practice run on the new environment, including tests of forms, payments, logins and email delivery.
Cutover plan and rollback
A timed checklist for the switch, a lowered DNS TTL in advance, and a clear way back if something goes wrong.
Post-move monitoring
Daily checks of Search Console, 404 errors, analytics and orders for the weeks after launch, with quick fixes.

Picture a business like yours,in three frames.
A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Four legs of one relay, about 8 weeks to get going.
Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.
Four factors, four corners of your project.
Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.
A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.
Mostly compact, with one area that needs more work.
A balanced build. Half the factors on each side.
A larger build. Most areas need extra work and time.
The full footprint. Every factor on the larger side.
The question we hear most:Move as is, or rebuild during the move?
The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.
You are changing host or server and the site itself works well.
Existing problems in the site move with it.
The current platform holds you back through cost, speed or missing features.
It takes longer, and URL changes need careful redirect work to protect search traffic.
Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.
Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.
Forgetting email when changing hosting
MX and other email records are part of the DNS inventory so mail keeps flowing.
Launching without redirects
Every old URL is mapped and tested before launch to keep visitors and search signals.
Migrating during a sale
We schedule cutovers away from peak periods and agree a short content freeze.
Cancelling the old hosting on launch day
The old setup stays available for a short period in case anything was missed.

Cost & timeHow long will our site be down?
Hosting moves are usually done with little or no visible downtime by syncing data and switching DNS at a quiet hour. Platform moves include a short content freeze before the final sync. We agree the window with you in advance.
Cost & timeWhat does a migration cost?
It depends on the type of move, the amount of data, the number of integrations and how many URLs change. A simple hosting move is a small job, while a full replatform is a project quoted with a fixed scope.
Getting startedWill the move hurt our search traffic?
Google's site move guidance says some fluctuation is normal while it recrawls. Proper redirects, consistent content and quick fixes for errors keep that disruption small. We cannot promise rankings stay identical, but we follow the documented process carefully.
Getting startedCan customer passwords be moved?
It depends on the platforms. Some can import password hashes, while others require customers to reset their password. We plan clear messaging for customers if a reset is needed.
In IndiaDo you move order history and GST invoices?
Order history can usually be imported for reference. Past GST invoices should also be kept in your accounting system or as archived PDFs, which we help export.
OwnershipWho owns the new setup?
All new hosting, platform and DNS accounts are in your name. The migration plan, redirect map and data checks are handed over to you.
Getting startedCan you move us from Wix or Squarespace?
Yes, though these platforms have limited export options, so content is often moved with a mix of exports and careful manual work. We estimate effort after looking at your site.
Getting startedWhat happens after the move?
We monitor Search Console, analytics, error logs and orders for several weeks, fix any missed redirects or broken features, and then hand over to a care plan if you want ongoing support.
