Education · School & college websites

We design websites for schools and colleges that show programmes, faculty, events and every required disclosure in one tidy place. Your office posts notices and circulars itself, so the site stays current through the academic year.

In plain words

School & college websites, explained without jargon.

What makes a school or college website different from a business website?

One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.

Think of it like this

It works like a well-run school reception: a notice board, a prospectus rack and a filing cabinet of certificates, all labelled so visitors find what they came for.

01 / 04

An institution's site serves several audiences at once: parents choosing a school, students checking timetables, staff posting circulars and inspectors looking for required documents.

02 / 04

Boards and regulators expect certain details to be published, such as CBSE's mandatory public disclosure for affiliated schools or the disclosure pages that UGC and AICTE ask colleges to keep.

03 / 04

The site also changes every week with events, results and notices.

04 / 04

So the structure has to make each audience's path obvious and make updating easy for non-technical staff.

Signs you need it

What you receive

Six parts, all handed over to you.

Your School & college websites work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.

Programme and department pages

A consistent template for each grade band, stream, course or department, with eligibility, intake, duration and contact person. Departments fill in their own sections from the CMS.

  • Programme and department pages
  • Faculty directory
  • Regulatory disclosure section
  • Events calendar and galleries
  • Notices and circulars
  • Search and accessibility basics
How it runs

Four legs of one relay, about 8 weeks, start to finish.

Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.

The decision

The question we hear most:WordPress or a headless CMS for your institution?

The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.

Pick this when

You are a single school or a small college and want staff to edit pages in a familiar editor.

The trade-off

It needs regular plugin and security updates, so it suits you best with a care plan or an in-house person who handles updates.

What shapes the quote

Four factors, four corners of your project.

Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.

Footprint

A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.

An example

Picture a business like yours,in three frames.

A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

A CBSE school in Nagpur with an outdated site and a pending inspection

Common mistakes

Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.

Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.

Trips when

Uploading disclosure documents as unreadable phone photos

How we avoid it

Scan each certificate as a clear PDF and list its key details as text on the page so inspectors and parents can read it.

School & college websites questions, answered plainly.

Search the answers. If yours is missing, ask us on the call.

Getting startedWhat does CBSE expect on a school website?

CBSE asks affiliated schools to publish a mandatory public disclosure with details such as affiliation, recognition, safety certificates, staff, results and infrastructure. The exact list is set by CBSE and has changed through circulars, so we build the section from the latest format you confirm. Please check the current requirement with your adviser or CBSE regional office.

Getting startedWe are a college. Which disclosure pages do we need?

Colleges usually keep pages for UGC public self-disclosure, AICTE mandatory disclosure if they run approved technical programmes, and NAAC items such as the IQAC page and reports. Which ones apply depends on your affiliation and programmes, so check with your adviser. We set up the structure and your office uploads the documents.

Cost & timeHow long does a school website take, and what changes the cost?

A single school site usually takes 5 to 8 weeks. Cost grows with the number of departments or campuses, how many documents and old notices need moving, and extra languages. Tell us the campuses, departments and documents to move, and the website quote reaches you within 48 hours.

OwnershipWho owns the website and the domain?

Your institution owns the domain, hosting account, code and content. We set them up in your name, or move them into your name if a previous vendor holds them. You can take the site to another developer at any time.

Getting startedCan teachers post notices without seeing everything else?

Yes. We create roles so a teacher can post notices for their class or department while only the office can edit fees or disclosure pages. Every change is logged with the person's name and time.

Getting startedCan we show board results and toppers?

You can, with written consent from each student and parent, and only results you can back with official records. Many schools show aggregate results by subject instead of naming individual students.

Getting startedWill the site work on slow mobile connections?

We compress images, keep pages light and test on mid-range Android phones over a throttled connection. Galleries load photos as the visitor scrolls.

After launchWhat happens after launch?

Your staff run daily updates from the CMS. On a monthly care plan we handle software updates, backups, uptime checks and a renewal reminder for disclosure documents, and you can cancel anytime.
