Retail & D2C · Marketplace sync

We connect your own store and the marketplaces you sell on to a single stock count. A sale on any channel lowers stock everywhere, and orders and returns land in one place for your warehouse team.

In plain words

Marketplace sync,explained without jargon.

What does marketplace sync actually do?

One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.

Think of it like this

It is like one cash drawer shared by several counters in a shop, so every cashier always knows exactly what is left.

01 / 04

It keeps one master count of how many units you have, and pushes that number to your website and each marketplace on a short schedule.

02 / 04

When an order arrives from anywhere, the master count drops and every channel is updated.

03 / 04

Orders, cancellations and returns from each marketplace flow back into the same system so your team packs from one list.

04 / 04

A shared SKU code links the same product across channels even when each marketplace names it differently.

An example

Picture a business like yours,in three frames.

A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Signs you need it

What you receive

Six parts, all handed over to you.

Your Marketplace sync work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.

Master SKU map

One sheet linking each of your SKUs to the matching listing ID on your store and on every marketplace, including bundles and multi-packs.

  • Master SKU map
  • Order management setup
  • Stock buffer rules
  • Order and return flow
  • Fulfilment model mapping
  • Settlement reconciliation sheet
The decision

The question we hear most:Which system should hold your master stock?

The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.

Pick this when

You sell mostly on your own site with one or two marketplaces and a single warehouse.

The trade-off

Store apps for marketplace sync can be limited for returns, multiple warehouses and settlement data.

How it runs

Four legs of one relay, about 6 weeks, start to finish.

Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.

Common mistakes

Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.

Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.

Using different SKU codes on each marketplace

How we avoid it

Create one master SKU and map each channel's listing ID to it before connecting any tool.

What shapes the quote

Four factors, four corners of your project.

Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.

Cost & timeHow long does marketplace sync take?

Two or three channels from one warehouse usually take 3 to 4 weeks, including a parallel run. Several marketplaces, multiple warehouses or an ERP link take 6 weeks or more. The audit in week 1 sets the timeline.

Getting startedWhat makes marketplace sync bigger or smaller as a project?

The number of channels, warehouses and fulfilment models, how messy SKU naming is today and whether settlements feed your accounts. The sync tool's subscription is billed to you by its provider, and we list it in the fixed quote.

Getting startedWhich marketplaces can you connect?

Common connections include Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Ajio and Nykaa, plus ONDC through a seller-side app. What is possible depends on each marketplace's seller APIs and the tools approved to use them, so we confirm the options for your channels during the audit.

Getting startedCan we sell on ONDC as well?

Yes. You join ONDC through a seller-side network participant, which lists your catalogue on buyer apps across the network. We connect that seller app to your master stock in the same way as any marketplace.

Getting startedWhy do marketplace payouts never match our sales?

Payouts are reduced by commission, shipping and other fees, returns and tax deductions such as TCS under GST and TDS under the Income Tax Act. Our reconciliation sheet lines these up order by order. Please have your accountant confirm how to record them.

OwnershipWho owns the sync tool account and data?

You do. The order system, marketplace seller accounts and SKU map are all in your name, and we work as users with access you can remove at any time.

Getting startedWhat happens during big marketplace sale events?

Order volume can jump sharply, so we raise buffers on hot items, check that sync schedules keep up and watch for errors. On a care plan we do these checks before each major sale.

After launchCan our team manage it after launch?

Yes. We train your team to add new SKUs to the map, change buffers and handle sync errors, and leave a written daily checklist. We stay available for new channels or problems through a care plan.
