Heard yourself say this?Count how many fit.
Five things owners tell us before a project like this starts. Every one you recognise adds a tally mark.
Tap the lines you have said this year.
One fits. Worth a short call to see if Customer & partner portals is the right fix.
Two fit. A short call will tell you whether to do this now or later.
Three fit. This is probably worth planning soon.
Four fit. You are losing time to this already.
All five. This page was written for you.
Customer & partner portals, explained without jargon.
What is a customer or partner portal?
One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.
It is like giving each client their own locker at your office, with their papers always filed and up to date.
A portal is a private, logged-in area of your website for people you already do business with.
Customers might track orders, download invoices or raise service requests.
Partners such as dealers, agents or franchisees might see their targets, commissions and marketing material.
Data comes from your existing systems, so the portal shows the same truth your team sees.
Six parts, all handed over to you.
Your Customer & partner portals work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.
Secure login
Login with mobile OTP, email or Google, with optional two-factor for sensitive accounts. SMS OTPs use DLT-registered templates as Indian telecom rules require.
Personal dashboard
A home screen showing each user's open orders, pending payments, recent documents and alerts. It answers the most common questions at a glance.
Document centre
Invoices, contracts, certificates and reports organised by type and date, with secure download links. Every download is logged.
Requests and tickets
Forms to raise service requests, complaints or change orders, with status tracking and replies in one thread. Your team works them from a shared queue.
Payments and statements
Outstanding balances, ledger statements and UPI or card payment of dues. Receipts appear in the portal automatically.
Partner resources
For dealers and agents: price lists, marketing kits, training videos, targets and commission reports. Updates reach everyone at once.

Picture a business like yours,in three frames.
A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Four legs of one relay, about 14 weeks, start to finish.
Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.
Four factors, four corners of your project.
Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.
A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.
Mostly compact, with one area that needs more work.
A balanced build. Half the factors on each side.
A larger build. Most areas need extra work and time.
The full footprint. Every factor on the larger side.
The question we hear most:Portal add-on to an existing tool or a custom portal?
The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.
Your data already lives in Zoho, Salesforce or Freshdesk and their portal features cover your needs.
It is quicker to set up, though branding and features are limited and per-user licences can add up.
Data comes from several systems or your users need features no single tool offers.
It fits your users exactly, though it needs a build budget and maintenance.
Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.
Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.
Launching a portal with stale data
We connect live data sources and show when each figure was last updated.
Forcing users to remember yet another password
We offer OTP or Google login so users get in quickly.
Putting every report in the portal at once
We start with the few things users ask for most, then add more based on usage.
Not telling users the portal exists
We plan invitations, reminders and links in emails and invoices so adoption grows.

Cost & timeHow long does a portal take and what affects the cost?
A view-only portal pulling from one system takes six to eight weeks. Portals with ordering, payments and several data sources take ten to fourteen. User types, data sources, transactions and security needs drive the price.
Getting startedCan the portal read data from Tally?
Yes. We use Tally's integration options or a connector to sync ledgers, invoices and outstanding balances on a schedule. We agree how often data refreshes.
In IndiaHow do OTP logins work in India?
SMS OTPs must use templates registered on the DLT platform through your SMS provider. We can also send OTPs on WhatsApp using approved authentication templates, which many users prefer.
OwnershipWho owns the portal and data?
You do. The code, hosting and data sit in your accounts, and users' personal data is handled under your privacy policy.
Getting startedHow do you keep documents secure?
Documents are stored in private cloud storage and served through short-lived links to logged-in users only. Access rules ensure each user sees only their own records.
In IndiaDoes the DPDP Act affect our portal?
Portals collect personal data, so consent, purpose limits and deletion requests matter. We build consent notices and data request tools, and you should check obligations with your adviser.
Getting startedCan partners use it on their phones?
Yes. Portals are designed mobile-first and can be installed as a PWA on the home screen. A native app can follow if usage justifies it.
After launchWhat support follows launch?
We help with user onboarding in the first weeks and track adoption. A monthly plan covers integration upkeep, new features and security updates.

Tired of answering the same emails? We'll give your clients their own portal.
List the five questions customers ask you most, and we will show where a portal answers them.
