Experience design · Accessibility

We make your website and app usable by people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, zoom or captions. You get tested fixes and designs that meet WCAG 2.2 AA.

In plain words

Accessibility,explained without jargon.

What does web accessibility mean?

One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.

Think of it like this

It is the digital version of a ramp, a lift and clear signage at your shop entrance.

01 / 04

Accessibility means people with disabilities can use your website or app without help.

02 / 04

That includes blind users with screen readers, people who cannot use a mouse, those with low vision who zoom in, and deaf users who need captions.

03 / 04

WCAG is the international guideline that sets testable rules for this.

04 / 04

Accessible sites also tend to be easier for older users and anyone on a small, glary screen.

An example

Picture a business like yours,in three frames.

A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Signs you need it

Heard yourself say this?Count how many fit.

Five things owners tell us before a project like this starts. Every one you recognise adds a tally mark.

Your tally0of 5

Tap the lines you have said this year.

What you receive

Six parts, all handed over to you.

Your Accessibility work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.

Automated scan

A site-wide scan with axe and similar tools that catches missing labels, contrast failures and broken headings. Automated tools find only part of the problems, so this is a starting point.

  • Automated scan
  • Manual expert testing
  • WCAG 2.2 AA report
  • Code fixes
  • Accessible design patterns

The decision

The question we hear most:Fix the code or use an accessibility overlay widget?

The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.

Pick this when

You want real access for disabled users and evidence that holds up in audits or tenders.

The trade-off

It takes developer time, though the improvements are permanent and benefit every visitor.

How it runs

Four legs of one relay, about 6 weeks, start to finish.

Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.

Common mistakes

Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.

Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.

Trips when

Relying on an automated score of 100

How we avoid it

We always add manual screen reader and keyboard testing, since scanners miss many real barriers.

What shapes the quote

Four factors, four corners of your project.

Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.

Footprint

A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.

Cost & timeHow long does an audit and fix project take and what affects the cost?

An audit of a typical business site takes one to two weeks, and fixes take another two to four. Cost depends on templates, complex components and media. You get a separate price for the audit and the fixes so you can decide step by step.

OwnershipIs accessibility a legal requirement in India?

The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 covers accessibility, government sites follow GIGW guidelines, and some regulators have issued their own digital accessibility rules for regulated entities. Requirements depend on your sector, so check with your adviser. If you sell to Europe or the US, their laws may also apply to you.

Getting startedWhich WCAG level should we aim for?

WCAG 2.2 level AA is the usual target for businesses and is what most procurement checklists ask for. Level AAA is rarely required across a whole site.

OwnershipCan you make our Shopify or WordPress site accessible?

Yes. Many issues sit in the theme, which we can fix, and some sit in third-party apps or plugins. Where an app cannot be fixed, we suggest an accessible alternative.

Getting startedDo you test with real assistive technology?

Yes. We test with NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on Mac and iPhone, and TalkBack on Android, plus keyboard-only and 200 percent zoom checks.

In IndiaCan you handle Indian language content for screen readers?

We set the correct language attributes so screen readers pronounce Hindi, Tamil and other scripts properly. We also check that text is real text, not images of text.

OwnershipWill we own the report and fixes?

Yes. The report and every code change belong to you, and fixes are committed to your repository or theme with notes.

OwnershipHow do we stay accessible after the project?

We train your editors and developers, add automated checks to your release process and offer a periodic re-audit. A monthly plan can cover reviews of new pages.
