/guide the eye
We design the transitions, feedback and animated details that make a product feel responsive and well made. Every effect has a purpose and stays light enough for an entry-level Android phone.

Motion & interaction,explained without jargon.
What is motion and interaction design?
One idea at a time. Each sheet lays over the last, so the picture builds up. Tap a number to jump.
It is the click of a car door closing properly, a small cue that tells you something worked.
Interaction design decides how an interface responds when someone taps, swipes, types or waits.
Motion is the movement that shows those responses, such as a button pressing in, a card sliding away or a checkmark drawing itself after payment.
Done well, it tells users what just happened and where to look next.
Done badly, it slows everything down and drains battery.
Picture a business like yours,in three frames.
A typical situation, not a client story. The line in each frame goes from tangled to straight as the work is done.

Heard yourself say this?Count how many fit.
Five things owners tell us before a project like this starts. Every one you recognise adds a tally mark.
Tap the lines you have said this year.
One fits. Worth a short call to see if Motion & interaction is the right fix.
Two fit. A short call will tell you whether to do this now or later.
Three fit. This is probably worth planning soon.
Four fit. You are losing time to this already.
All five. This page was written for you.
Six parts, all handed over to you.
Your Motion & interaction work is made of these six parts. The comb lights each one in turn; tap a cell to read it.
Motion principles
A short guide setting how fast, how far and how often things move in your product. It keeps every future animation consistent.
Micro-interaction set
Designed feedback for taps, toggles, likes, form validation, pull to refresh and success states. Each one confirms an action without slowing the user.
Screen transitions
Rules for how screens enter, exit and connect, such as a product card expanding into its detail page. These help users keep their bearings.
Loading and empty states
Skeleton screens, progress cues and friendly empty-state animations. They make waits feel shorter and reduce layout jumps.
Animation files
Lightweight Lottie or Rive files for illustrations and branded moments. Rive files can react to user input and stay small in size.
Developer specs and code
Duration, easing and trigger details for every motion, plus CSS, Flutter or React code where we build it. Nothing is left to guesswork.

The question we hear most:Lottie, Rive or coded animation?
The board turns through each option. Tap one to hold it and read the trade-off.
The motion is a transition, hover or simple state change in the interface.
It is the lightest and fastest option, though complex illustrations are hard to build this way.
You have an illustrator working in After Effects and need playback-only animations.
It is widely supported, though files can grow large and they cannot easily react to user input.
You want interactive animations that respond to taps, scroll or app state, like a mascot or a progress meter.
Files are small and interactive, though your designers need to learn the Rive editor.
Four legs of one relay, about 4 weeks, start to finish.
Each leg is sized by how long it usually takes. Watch the baton go round, or tap a leg to jump there.
Four things that trip a project, and the fix we fit instead.
Each fuse is a mistake we see often. Watch it blow and get replaced, or tap a fuse to read the fix.
Animating everything because it looks impressive
We give every motion a job, such as confirming, guiding or explaining, and drop the rest.
Long, slow transitions
We keep most interface motion short so the product feels quick to experienced users.
Ignoring people sensitive to motion
We honour the reduced-motion setting on phones and computers with calmer alternatives.
Testing only on high-end devices
We check frame rates on an entry-level Android phone before approving any effect.
Four factors, four corners of your project.
Each corner grows when that factor is on the larger side. The outline is your project's footprint, and the quote follows it.
A compact project. The smallest footprint for your quote.
Mostly compact, with one area that needs more work.
A balanced build. Half the factors on each side.
A larger build. Most areas need extra work and time.
The full footprint. Every factor on the larger side.
Motion & interaction questions,answered plainly.
Search the answers. If yours is missing, ask us on the call.
Cost & timeHow long does motion design take and what does it cost?
A set of core micro-interactions takes one to two weeks. A full motion system with custom illustrations takes three to four. Cost depends on how many moments we design, illustration needs and whether we code it, all listed in your quote.
Getting startedWill animations slow down our website?
Not if they are built carefully. We animate properties that browsers handle cheaply, keep files small and avoid layout shifts that hurt Core Web Vitals.
OwnershipDo we own the animation files?
Yes. Source files from Figma, After Effects or Rive and the exported files are all handed to you.
Getting startedCan you add motion to our existing app?
Yes. We usually start with the moments that cause support questions or hesitation, such as payment, uploads and form errors, then expand from there.
Getting startedDoes motion work the same on Android and iOS?
Each platform has its own conventions for transitions and haptic feedback. We respect those while keeping your brand's timing consistent, especially in Flutter or React Native apps.
Getting startedWhat about users who find animation uncomfortable?
We design a reduced-motion version that swaps movement for fades or instant changes. It switches on automatically when users set that preference on their device.
Getting startedCan you make an animated logo or explainer?
Yes. We create animated logos for app launch screens and short explainers for websites or social media, exported in the formats each platform needs.
Getting startedHow do we keep motion consistent later?
The motion principles and tokens for duration and easing sit in your design system. New features reuse them, and we can review new work on a monthly plan.
